Claudette Shirley Macey,90, of Westmoreland,NH passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025 at Maplewood Nursing Home. She was born November 8,1934 in St Johnsbury, Vt and lived in St Johnsbury during childhood, graduating from St Johnsbury Academy. She also lived in Stowe, Burlington,Montelier and Northfield Vt before residing in Westmoreland,NH.

Claudette will be remembered for her kindness,strength and grace during illness, and her love for her family. She always remembered birthdays with a card and much love. We will miss her always.

The family would like to express our thanks and gratitude for the love and tender care the staff of Maplewood Nursing Home gave our Aunt during her illness and passing. She was blessed to be at Maplewood during her final years.

Claudette is predeceased by her parents: Claude C. Macey and Edith Emma Leach, as well as her siblings: Fern Alice Feeley, Keith S. Macey, Esther M. Macey, Iris A. Macey and Beverly Edith Quimby. Claudette was especially close to her sister Beverly.

"Auntie Shirl" (as Beverly's children called her) was beloved by many nieces and nephews: Sharon Nichols (Ed Marx), David Quimby ( Eileen Quimby), Dr Richard Quimby, Leslie Davis, Harry Macey,Betty Moyer, Wayne Feeley and Eddie Feeley.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 21,2025 at 1pm at Highgate Center Cemetery, Highgate Center Vermont.
