Christopher N. Davlantes, 69, of Berlin, died July 26, 2018 at Barre Gardens Health & ReHab Center.
He was born on January 1, 1949, in Chicago, IL, the son of Nicholas and Lola Caroline (Bartel) Davlantes.
He graduated from Glendale High School in Los Angeles, C A, and later received a Bachelors Degree from Purchase College in New York.
Christopher was the owner of the local Sears Store in Morrisville. After that he worked for the Shaws
Store in Berlin.
Growing up in San Diego, CA, he grew to love spending time at the beach. Since living in New England, he enjoyed the Beaches of South Maine, especially the lobster cruises out of Perkins Cove. Christopher was also active in Polo, playing in both Stowe and Waitsfield.
Survivors include his life partner of 30 years Jane C. Sheridan of Berlin and her sons, Thomas Sheridan and his wife, Birgit and their daughter, Colleen of Williamstown; and Patrick Sheridan and his wife, Stephanie of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Michele Marcus and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Marcus and E. Michael Marcus; and Thomas & Birgit Sheridans son, Derek Sheridan.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 3rd at Guare & Sons Funeral Home, 30 School Street, Montpelier.
His remains will be interred at the Berlin Corners Cemetery.
