Montpelier, VT Cecile K. Davis, 89, formerly of Liberty Street and Pioneer Apartments, died on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Woodridge Nursing Home. She was born in Hardwick, VT on April 22, 1925 the daughter of Harold and Laura (Keegan) Davis. She attended Montpelier Schools and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1942 and attended Champlain College in Burlington. She was a longtime member at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of the Americas (court St. Augustine #976) and an associate member of the Legion of Mary. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd from 9:00-10:30 am at Guare & Sons/Barber & Lanier Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will follow calling hours beginning at 11:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Burial will be in the family lot at Green Mount Cemetery.
