Brittney Anne Renee Wheeler, a vibrant spirit born on October 9, 2001, in Berlin, Vermont, departed this world far too soon on January 26, 2025, at the young age of 23. Brittney will be celebrated for her unwavering love for her family and friends, her passion for the outdoors, and her deep affection for her beloved animals, especially her dog, Jazzy, and her cat, Cow.

Brittney had a knack for arts and crafts, pouring her heart into each project, and found joy in the tranquility of nature. Whether she was fishing by the lake or camping under the stars, Brittney cherished every moment spent outdoors, embodying a zest for life that inspired those around her.

Brittney is survived by her devoted mother and step father, Evelyn and Joseph Payette of Barre, her father and step mother, Edward and Evelyn Wheeler of Newport, and her beloved siblings: sisters Isabell Vaughan and Alyssa Payette, Brianna Larrabee and brothers David Lafreniere, James Lafreniere, Joey Payette, Dakota Stone, and Jason Gillen, Jr. The bond she shared with her family was a source of strength and happiness in her life, and they will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

In celebration of Brittney's life, her family will host a memorial service to honor her spirit and the joy she brought to everyone she met. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather together to share her stories and memories that reflect the beautiful light that was Brittney at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the Guare & Sons Funeral Home.

Brittney's creativity, kindness, and love resonated with all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she has left us too soon, her spirit will continue to inspire vibrant memories and will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
