Bradley H. Raymond, 69, of Bailey Ave, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 24, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Montpelier, VT on May 29, 1945, the son of George Lewis and Norma (Harvey) Raymond.
He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1962. While there he played on the varsity baseball and basketball teams. He later attended the University of Vermont.
During his time at UVM, Bradley was offered a job as a bar and restaurant manager. After accepting the position, he realized this is something that he excelled in. He went on to own and operate several restaurant establishments in the Burlington area. Bradley had a love for horses and was known as a very charitable individual, often making monetary donations to many organizations.
Survivors include his son, Todd Raymond of East Montpelier; his mother, Norma Raymond of East Montpelier; brother Gregory Raymond and wife Jean Robertson Raymond of Pennsylvania; grandchildren; Brittney, Mallory, Lydia, and Ashton Raymond and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held later this summer. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Vermont Humane Society of East Montpelier.
