Montpelier, VT Beverly Morse Keck, 71, faithful wife to Thomas Keck was released peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus after a long battle with cancer. She was at home surrounded by her family. Beverly was born in Joliet, Illinois to Martha Mae and Daryl Morse. She was educated in Illinois and began her career as a teacher in Vermont. It was her joy to teach in and out of the classroom. She also loved painting, gardening, traveling, water sports, Bible studies, cooking and sharing her talents with others. Christian music ministry was an important part of her life. Bev volunteered her time and talent with several churches as a musical director. She was a vital part of the Montpelier Gospel Choir, and local ukulele group. She was exceedingly generous, and enjoyed hosting gatherings with an abundance of food and laughter. She is survived by her beloved husband Thomas Keck, her brothers Burton and James Morse, sister Mrs. Jean Whiteside, sister-in law Carolyn, daughter Heidi and son Eric, daughter- in law Beth and son-in law Dr. Roger Diegel. Grandchildren Zion, Thunder, Phoebe and Zachri in New Hampshire, and Lillian, Elizabeth, Thomas and Tobias in Montana. She has many beloved nieces and nephews and was delighted with a growing number of grandnieces and grandnephews. The funeral will be in East Montpelier at the Old Meeting House on Sunday, October 5 at 3pm.
