Barbara C. Greve, 88, formerly of West County Road, and more recently of Woodridge Nursing Home died May 4, 2014 at Central Vermont Hospital. She was born on December 31, 1925 in Boston, MA the daughter of Herbert C. and Christine (Silva) Regan of Medford, MA. She graduated from Medford High School in Massachusetts in 1942. Barbara was married to Vincent J. Greve who served overseas during WW 2. He predeceased her in 1954. Barbara was employed as a data processing manager and was transferred to Atlanta, GA in 1952, where she was employed by Southern Saw Service for 31 years. After retiring in 1988 she moved to Calais, VT where she lived the reminder of her life until she moved to Woodridge Nursing Home. Barbara loved to paint, care for her boston terriers, cats and kept the birds and animals fed through the winter. She was a member of the Old Brick Church, East Montpelier. Barbara is survived by cousins in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. A Memorial service will be held at Guare & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday May 10, 2014 at 2 pm.
