Montpelier, VT Ann Healy Thetford of Montpelier and Woodridge Nursing Home died Friday, November 10, 2017. She was born in Rutland in 1922 and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Katherine Healy. Ann was a home maker, telephone operator and served in the Navy during World War II. For many years she working at the voting polls and was a member of St. Augustine's parish. Ann was a member of The Emblem Club ( Elks) and St Vincents de Paul Society. In 1945 she married the late James Thetford and is survived by four sons: William and wife, Paula of Lewes Delaware; John of the Philippines ; James of Montpelier; Thomas and wife, Teresa of Strafford, CT; brothers Joseph Healy of Montpelier and Robert Healy of Hemet CA and many grand and great- grand children. A funeral will be held in May with burial at the Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph. She was very thankful for the excellent care given by the Woodridge staff.
