Alexander James Lamell-Henry, born in Berlin, VT on February 6, 2015 to Katherine Lamell and Kris Alexander Henry, passed away suddenly on July 5, 2017. He is survived by his parents; sister, Annmarie; maternal grandparents, Mary Jo Lamell; James Henry Lamell; Philip Sweetman; and Ernie & Marjorie Wheeler; paternal grandmother, Kim Henry; great grandparents, John and Thelma Gillis, Michael and Carol Hartigan; aunts, Adrie Pierson; Brandy Lamell; Bethany Munn; and Berniece Smedley; uncles, Bradly Lamell, Barry Lamell and Brent Lamell; and numerous extended family members and close friends. He was predeceased by an uncle, James Ronald Lamell, a great uncle Frank Garletts, and a grandfather, Christopher George Henry. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the University of Vermont Medical Center (FAHC) for the loving supportive care that they extended during his short stay. This sweet boy was loved by many. He touched many hearts in his short life span. Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 10th from 6-8:00pm at the Guare & Sons Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the Old Brick Church, East Montpelier Village, Tuesday, July 11th beginning at 11:00. A memorial reception will follow the service.
