Albert H. Jordan, 64, of Berlin Street, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the Central Vermont Hospital.
He was born in Gardiner, ME, on February 29, 1944, the son of Albert H. Jordan, Sr and Florence C. (Cavanagh) Jordan.
He was educated in several school and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1962. After high school, Albert spent a short time in the United States Air Force.
After leave the service, he worked for Vermont Castings however most of his career was as an offset printer for Capital City Press. Most recently he worked for J.A. McDonald paving company as a traffic controller.
He was a member of St. Augustine Church. Albert was an active outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his mother Florence C. Jordan of Montpelier, but currently at Rowan Court Nursing Home; sister Muriel Goldberg and her husband James; nephew, Christopher Eaton and his wife Sabine, and their son, Alexander Eaton; niece, Leslie Ann Baker and her husband Timothy; and several cousins. He also leave behind the beloved family cat, Lucky.
Calling hours will be held 11:00 am-1:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Guare & Sons Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 1:00 pm. The committal will be held at the Berlin Corners Cemetery at a later date.
