Adele M Yeagle, 91, of Heaton Woods, Montpelier, died on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at her home.
She was born on May 31, 1919 in New York City the daughter of George and Margaret Schumacher) Schwab.
On November 10, 1945, she married Paul Yeagle in River Edge, NJ, where they lived for 25 years. In 1973 she and her husband moved to Vergennes, VT where they owned and operated the New Haven Motel. In 1989 they retired and moved to Fort Myers, FL before moving back to Vermont in 2006 and lived at Heaton Woods. Mr. Yeagle predeceased her on September 16, 2006.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Christensen of Berlin; son, Glenn Yeagle of Richmond. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth McKearnin, son-in-law, Roy Christensen and nephew, Robert McKearnin.
Memorial service will be held at Heaton Woods, 10 Heaton Street, Montpelier at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 16, 2011.
