Aaron Downing, loving son of David and Lynda Downing of Montpelier, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 31, 2018. Aaron had a deep love for his family and for the outdoors. He will be remembered for his fun-loving, adventuresome spirit. Aaron had struggled with mental illness for many years. He leaves behind his daughter; Elizabeth, of New Hampshire; brothers, Lance of White Salmon, Washington, Ian, and his wife, Mary Beth of South Burlington; niece, Hadley; grandfather, Richard Downing of Florida; as well as many caring aunts, uncles, and cousins. A private remembrance gathering in celebration of Aaron's life will be held by the family.
